The ‘208’ bus route operates from Mayfield through the city centre via St. Patrick’s Street (pick up point outside Debenhams) to the hospital every 10 to 20 minutes, seven days a week. Click here for the timetable. (pdf)

Driving to the Hospital

  • Take the N7 route from Dublin To Cork.
  • At Junction with M50 take centre lanes to continue forward onto N7 (signposted Limerick).
  • At Junction 3 continue forward onto Naas Road – N7 (signposted Limerick, The South).
  • At Junction 9 continue forward onto the M7 motorway (signposted Limerick).
  • At Junction 18 continue forward onto the M7 toll motorway (signposted Limerick). Continue to Portlaoise Main Toll Plaza.
  • Leave the M7 at Junction 19, then join the M8 toll motorway (signposted Cork).
  • At Junction 14 continue forward onto the M8 toll motorway (signposted Cork).
  • Cross River Bride then through M8 Toll Plaza.
  • At Junction 17 continue forward onto the M8 (signposted Cork).
  • At Dunkettle Interchange (Jct. 19) roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Cork South Ring Road – N25 (signposted South Ring)
  • Take the Jack Lynch Tunnel (Southbound).
  • Continue forward onto the Cork South Ring Road – N25 (signposted The West).
  • Take the slip road exit 2 on the left signposted Curraheen.
  • At the Curraheen Road roundabout take the first exit on the left, which is the start of the entrance to Marymount.
  • Continue forward on this route until you reach the main entrance to the building.

  • At Clashehane roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N21 (signposted Limerick).
  • At John Cronin roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N22 (signposted Cork).
  • Continue forward onto the N22 Entering Farranfore.
  • Continue forward onto the N22 Entering Killarney.
  • At Cleeny roundabout take the 1st exit onto Rockery Road – N22 (signposted Cork).
  • At Park Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Cork Road – N22 (signposted Cork).
  • Continue forward onto the N22 Entering Lissivigeen.
  • Continue forward onto the N22 Entering Ballyvourney.
  • Continue forward onto the N22 Entering Ballymakeery.
  • Continue forward onto Codrum – N22 Entering Macroom.
  • Continue forward onto Cork South Ring Road – N22 (signposted South Ring)
  • Take the slip road exit on the left signposted Curraheen.
  • At the Roundabout take the 4th exit and go over the flyover.
  • At the Curraheen Road roundabout take the 1st exit on the left, which is the start of the entrance to Marymount.
  • Continue forward on this route until you reach the main entrance to the building.

  • Continue forward onto the Cork road – N20 Entering Charleville.
  • At crossroads continue forward onto the Main Street – N20 (signposted Cork) Entering Buttevant.
  • Continue forward onto the N20 Entering New Twopothouse.
  • Continue forward onto the N20 Entering Mallow.
  • At roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the N20.
  • At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the N20 (signposted Cork).
  • Continue forward onto the New Mallow Road – N20 Entering Cork.
  • At traffic signals turn right onto Leitrim Street – N20 (signposted City Centre).
  • Turn right.
  • Turn left onto Watercourse road.
  • Turn right onto O’Connell Street.
  • Turn left onto Gerald Griffin Street.
  • Continue forward onto Shandon Street.
  • At Junction 21, traffic signals turn right onto Bachelor’s Quay.
  • At Junction 20 turn left onto Grattan Street.
  • At Junction 19, traffic signals continue forward onto Grattan Street (signposted N22, N71).
  • Continue forward onto Sheares Street – N22.
  • At junction 14, traffic signals turn right onto Lancaster Quay – N22.
  • At Junction 15 continue forward onto the N22.
  • Junction 16, at traffic signals continue forward onto the N22 (signposted N22, N71).
  • At traffic signals bear left onto the N71 (signposted West Cork).
  • At traffic signals continue forward onto the N71 (signposted West Cork).
  • At Wilton Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Sarsfield Road – N71 (signposted South Ring N25, West Cork).
  • At Sarsfield Road Roundabout take the 3rd exit onto Cork South Ring Road – N25 (signposted South Ring West, Killarney).
  • At Bandon Road Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto Cork South Ring Road –N22 (signposted Tralee).
  • Take the slip road exit on the left signposted Curraheen.
  • At the Curraheen Road roundabout take the first exit on the left, which is the start of the entrance to Marymount.
  • Continue forward on this route until you reach the main entrance to the building.

  • At St. Lukes Crossroads turn right onto North Summerhill – R614.
  • At traffic signals continue forward onto Brian Boru Street (signposted N71, N22).

  • Go over Brian Boru Bridge (River Lee).
  • Turn left onto Anderson’s Quay – N20.
  • At Junction 1, traffic signals turn right onto Albert Street – N27 (signposted South Ring N25).
  • At Junction 4, traffic signals turn left onto South City Link Road – N27 (signposted Airport).
  • At Kinsale Road Roundabout take 3rd exit, then merge onto South Ring Road – N25 (signposted South Ring West) onto Cork South Ring Road.
  • Take the slip road exit on the left signposted Curraheen.
  • At the Curraheen Road roundabout take the first exit on the left, which is the start of the entrance to Marymount.
  • Continue forward on this route until you reach the main entrance to the building.
