7th National Conference For Health Care Assistants

All health care assistants or home carers working in long term care settings in community hospitals, nursing homes, hospices & palliative care services or in acute hospitals and for those caring for people in their own homes.
The fee for this one day conference is €100. An early bird fee of €90 is available up to 28th April 2020.
Advance booking is essential. Conference fee includes refreshments, lunch, a conference pack.
Cancellations up to 3 weeks prior to the conference will be given a full refund, minus an administration fee of €25.00. We regret that cancellations after this time cannot be refunded. Refunds for failure to attend the conference cannot be made however, substitute delegates will be accepted.
The ‘208’ bus route operates from Mayfield through the city centre via St. Patrick’s Street (pick up point outside Debenhams) to the hospital every 10 to 20 minutes, seven days a week. The bus timetable can be downloaded from our hospital website.
Parking will be provided strictly off-site at the Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium which is a 5minute drive by bus. A Shuttle Bus (Jerry O’ Brien) will be available to ferry participants from the Stadium to the Hospital from 8am – 9.30am. If the bus is not there when you arrive between these times it may be in transit to the hospital i.e. please wait for its return. The bus will be available again at 5pm to ferry you back to the stadium. Please note the bus will not be available should you leave the conference early. The Stadium is approx. a 12minute walk.
