Course Description
Following a national warning from the Health Products Regulatory Authority (formerly the IMB), the CME T34 syringe pump is to replace the Graseby MS16A Syringe driver. T34 syringe pump training is now being offered at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice. The workshop will incorporate both theoretical and practical components, giving attendees an opportunity to set up and operate the T34 Syringe Pump.
Aim
To introduce the learner to the key features of hte T34 Syringe Driver Pump and the safe operation of the syringe driver
Learning Outcomes
- Identify the key features of the T34 Syringe Pump
- Explain the functions of the key features of the T34 Syringe Pump
- Demonstrate the ability to set up the T34 Syringe Pump correctly
- Demonstrate the ability to operate the T34 Syringe Pump
- Explain the management of the common alarm conditions that may arise
