Marymount acknowledges the devastating impact the Covid 19 pandemic has had on our patients, residents and their families, particularly in relation to the necessary visiting restrictions we have had to put in place to keep our patients and staff safe.

Acknowledging the Government’s national roadmap to ease COVID-19 restrictions, we at Marymount are keen to ease some of our restrictions per phase. All the while remaining mindful of the need to minimise ongoing risk to patients, residents visitors and staff.

From 15th June, some restrictions to visiting will remain in place in both our palliative care services and services for older people. Visits to our patients and residents will be facilitated for immediate family members by appointment only. Visits with children will be facilitated where possible.

Social distancing during visits will be strongly encouraged, along with hand hygiene and the wearing of PPE to minimise the risk to all involved. We will support all of our visitors in ensuring the proper use of all PPE. For the safety of all, if you feeling unwell in any way we ask you kindly please not to visit at this time.

Please call Marymount on 021 4501201 to speak to the appropriate ward manager to arrange your visit. The above measures will be kept under close review and will be amended as necessary.

We thank you most sincerely for your patience and understanding.

Yours sincerely,

Sarah McCloskey, CEO
