How you can support Marymount

Strategic partnerships

One-off donations from company-driven fundraising events remain vital to the charity sector. However, we are increasingly looking towards building long-term strategic partnerships that can bring about lasting change in our community.

A strategic partner is a company that is seeking to support a specific service in a number of ways. It may be through funding particular aspects of our community or specialist palliative care services for example. It may involve volunteering, or providing grants.

The alignment between a company and a charitable organisation such as Marymount creates direct benefits to employees and customers alike.

Employee fundraising

Employees working together for a charity increases staff morale and motivation. It is also a wonderful way to enhance teamwork and project a positive corporate image. Employee fundraising activities can range from a table quiz to a family day out. Find out more about our major fundraising drives.

In lieu of Christmas Donations

If you would like to make a donation to Marymount in lieu of Christmas cards or give Christmas gifts to your suppliers we can organise hard copy cards or a digital e-card. Please get in touch with fundraising at marymount.ie for more information.

Cause-related marketing

A partnership between a company and a high-profile charity such as ours builds brand loyalty, increases company sales and shows a commitment to a worthy cause. We are actively looking to build enticing cause-related marketing partnerships through our well-known and highly regarded brand.

Corporate sponsorship

Marymount University Hospital and Hospice run a number of significant fundraising events and activities throughout the year. The campaigns gather considerable media attention and reach a wide-ranging demographic. By supporting these activities companies have the opportunity to align their brand with Marymount and to enjoy a positive feeling with staff, customers, and people across Ireland.

Some of the events previously held include; Annual Golf Classic, September Collection Day, Light Up a Life Christmas appeal, Christmas cards sponsorship.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR)

Donating funds makes an immediate and telling impact at Marymount University Hospital & Hospice. Funds can be aligned with a specific service if requested. CSR is a way to position your company as a generous corporate citizen.

Payroll giving

Payroll giving is a simple and effective way for employees to make regular payments to a charity directly from their salary. Many of our corporate partners will match employee gifts and donations. This is a great incentive to fundraise within a company and allows us to fund cancer services and provide support for people with cancer and their families across Ireland.

Corporate gift matching

These offer supporters a great opportunity to double the impact of their donations. Check with your employer if they offer such a programme and let donors know that it’s in place.
